The unofficial ban which has been going on against ABN and TV 9 Channel in Telangana region is taking new twists and turns. After KCR’s speech in Assembly, immediately in the month of June these channels were stop from being telecast .
Officially TRS government has been conveying to even Centre that it is not involved directly even as both channels have apologized for any mistake they may have done. After a heated debate in Rajya Sabha, Union I &B Minister Prakash Javdekar had met MSO’s.
And he has reportedly warned them that they may risk cancellation of their licenses. At the same time, they also showed signs of mellowing down. But once they came back to Hyderabad they stopped responding to Centre’s plea while again KCR says those who do not salute the region have to be buried.
There are reports that the Centre is now mulling some serious action which may also involve provoking national media, cancelling MSO licenses and some surprise action because with the backing of state government, Centre feels in a way they are challenging it’s authority!
