Raja Cheyyi Vesthe-Story
Raja Ram (Nara Rohit) is a wannabe film director who's sole aim is to direct a script that he has written. He is also in a relationship with Chaitra (Isha Talwar), who is a software employee. On the other hand, Vijay Manik (Tarakaratna) is a cruel murderer who is feared even by the politicians. One fine day, two unknown persons try to assassinate Vijay, and while one gets shot and killed, the other escapes. Vijay vows to kill the person who escaped.

As time passes by, Raja Ram gets a letter from an unknown person claiming to be a star director who tells him that he is impressed by his script and to test his caliber, asks him to write a climax for a movie that he is currently shooting. Raja Ram agrees to this and does the needful. Impressed by the climax sent by Raja Ram, the director surprises Raja by sending him a gun and a photo of Vijay Manik and blackmails him to kill the dreaded murderer. Who is this star director? Why does he want Raja to kill Vijay ? What is the relation between Raja Ram and Vijay Manik? Will Raja manage to kill Vijay? These questions form the crux of the story.
Raja Cheyyi Vesthe-Star Performance
Nara Rohit has done justification with his role as an aspiring director. His reduced his weight to play the character of Raja ram and looks very smart. Tarak Ranta performed well and has done fantastic job as antagonist. Isha Talwar did not get much screen space to perform, she is ok with her character. Tarak Ratna is introduced as an antagonist in the first scene and after fifteen minute, after his introduction, actor Nara Rohit is introduced as an aspiring director. The love track of Nara Rohit and Isha Talwar, the conflict between Nara Rohit and Tarak Ratna consumes half of the time. Raghu Karumanchi is the role of Nara Rohit's friend is good and his performance is up to the mark. Srinivas Avasarala, Srinivas Avasarala, Siva Balaji and Ravi have delivered their best and justified with their role.
Raja Cheyyi Vesthe-Technical Team
The story of the movie is superb and has thrilling elements but screenplay is not good. The director Pradeep Chilukuri became fail to utilize the talent of actors, he tried to deliver his best but because of flat screenplay the entertainment level went down. The dialogues are good. The background music which is handled by Sai Karthik is impressive, the songs are ok. Cinematography work is good. Editor can chop few dragged scenes to make the movie better. The action sequences are well choreographed. The first half of the movie is ok but the entertainment level goes down as the movie moves forward.
Raja Cheyyi Vesthe-Analysis
On the whole, Raja Cheyyi Veste is a mind-game thriller that manages to impress in bits. Even though the casting is spot on and the twists are interesting, the overall narration and story manages to overshadow the positives making it just an average affair this weekend.
