Srinivas (Srinivas Reddy), an aspiring director, meets Ramesh Rao (Rao Ramesh) who is the CEO of Easy Solutions to narrate a script. The story is about a apartment haunted by a ghost named Anjali. Upon giving a narration, Srinivas reveals its a real life incident and he was the one to experience it. Impressed with the concept, Ramesh Rao asks Srinivas to return back to the apartment from where he has escaped to find out the conclusion to the story he had narrated. What happens then forms the rest of the story!

Artists Performance:

Anjali: She excels in the role which gives enough scope for performance and also looks glamorous when required. Her performance in few scenes is praise worthy.
Srinivas Reddy: Geethanjali is a big break for him and its like a promotion for this Comedian as he was the one who travels with the story right from start to end. He did complete justice to his role.
Rao Ramesh: He does a decent job.
Brahmanandam: As Saitan Raj, Comedy King entertains in few scenes.
Other Comedians Saptagiri, Shakalaka Shankar, Satyam Rajesh and Mandhu Nandan have produced rib-tickling comedy. Cameos of Harshavardhan Rane and Dil Raju are just okay.

Plus Points:

- Casting & Performances
- Comedy
- Screenplay
- First Half

Minus Points:

- Second Half
- Lack of enough Thrills

'Geethanjali' is a horror comedy on the lines of 'Prema Katha Chitram'. While the first half of the film is entertainment, second half is predictable at times and the suspense/thrilling factor is missing to make it a blockbuster.
Debutante Director Raaj Kiran does a decent job. Dialogues by Kona Venkat were impressive. Songs by Praveen Lakkaraju are nice but his background score isn't up to the mark. Cinematography by Sri Sai Ram is top notch. Editing should have been much crisp in the second half. Production Values are good.
The biggest setback for 'Geethanjali' is lack of suspense element and spine-chilling thrills. Only the performances of the actors and comedy are the saving grace of this woman-centric flick.
Verdict: A One Time Watchable Horror Comedy!
