Actress Sonal Chauhan, who is basking in the success of Pandaga Chesko, is playing a social activist in her upcoming film Size Zero. The actress will be seen as Smitha, an NRI who takes up a cleanliness campaign akin to Swachh Bharat in the film. The actress was initially apprehensive when director Prakash Rao offered the role. “I was little skeptical about taking up this role. But, Prakash assured me that my role will break the stereotype formula in Tollywood and has a lot of significance to perform."
The actress confides that Size Zero has an underlying message which makes a large section of people to relate to it. “The film is a triangle love story and has a beautiful message to the audience. Looks defy the nature of a person and beauty lies in the heart," adds Sonal. However, she maintains that she is not a size zero freak and confesses she is a big foodie. “I have a craving for Hyderabadi biryani, sweets and junk food. I don't believe in the concept of size zero as it makes you unhealthy and not many are aware of what it really implies." Produced by Prasad V Potluri under PVP Cinemas banner, the film also has Anushka and Arya in lead roles. MM Keeravani has scored the music.
