Cherry's 'Rugby Fight' a Refreshing Change

Despite some routine characters and performance, a action sequence in GAV, designed by director Krishna Vamsi, was refreshing, where Ram Charan beats up a bunch of goons, imagining it as a rugby game. After establishing Charan as a rugby player, the director tactfully, utilises it, while Charan is locked up in fight in the village.

Charan moves and kicks his opponents, almost like playing the game and those few minutes breaks the monotony of usual sequence, between hero and thugs. Although, director Rajamouli made a film "Style" around rugby sport and how college students, reclaim their college after winning over hardcore baddies, but in the latest, it is used in the light-hearted manner.
