Delhi High Court has asked an over 90 websites to stop broadcasting, streaming or providing online access to Hrithik-Katrina starrer Bang Bang. Delhi High Court was acting on a complaint filed by one of the producers, Fox Star Studios Limited.
Fox Star Studios fearing piracy has approached the court saying that one cannot view the content on any broadcast on any platform through internet and or device without their prior permission. The Delhi High Court concurred with the producer and ruled that piracy is a curse to the existing systems in the country. Court said in effect that piracy should be curbed and crushed with iron hand.
Justice Manmohan Singh who heard the case served notices to 90 websites all submitted by the producers. Delhi High Court even directed Department of Telecommunications and Department of Information Technology and Internet Service Providers (ISP) to block access to all the sites named by the producers.
Bang Bang is all set to release on Oct 2nd.
