Veteran Telugu actor Kota Srinivasa Rao is a bundle of talent and Telugu audiences don't need any introduction of him. The senior actor has now hit headlines by taking a direct dig at the makers of 'Janatha Garage'.
Kota has been intermittently raising his voice against the big Telugu filmmakers for giving preference to other language actors over Telugu actors. In one of his latest interviews, without taking the name of the film, he criticized the makers of 'Janatha Garage' in a subtle way to highlight how the trend of roping in actors of other languages is killing the chances of Telugu actors.
"Mohanlal's performance in a recently released Telugu film was highly praised but not a single person praised the performance of film's hero as Mohanlal completely overshadowed everyone. Known for his acting abilities, Mohanlal is bound to perform well. How much a Telugu actor should perform to get applause when you have an actor like Mohanlal on board? Makers are only thinking of their films but what about the Telugu actors who are losing opportunities because of this culture of domination of other language actors?" Kota asked.
Would any Telugu filmmaker make amends after Kota's outburst?
