Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna has completed 40 years in the Telugu Film industry today.
The actor debuted in Tatamma Kala and it released on 29th July 1974. The actor was seen playing a grandson to Dr Bhanumathi in the movie and it was directed by none other than his father Dr NTR.
The actor in him evolved with time and fans fondly called him Balayya. NBK acted in many films, but he excelled in the socio fanstasy and the historical movies genres. Among them his cameo roles in Dana Veera Soora Karna, Srimadvirataparvam, Akbar Saleem Anarkali and Sri Tirupati Venkateswara Kalyanam stand out.
In the movie Annadammula Anubandham, Balayya was only 16 and played brother to his father NTR.
It was only In 1984, that Balakrishna debuted as a full-fledged hero with Sahasame Jeevitham. However, the movies in 80s wherein Balayya played a village guy role made him a star hero. His Aditya 369 has shown the versatile actor in Balakrishna.
