“Shah Rukh is definitely one of the hardest working actors in our country. When he comes on the sets - especially when it's shown as his home, he first kind of feels the place. He walks around at a relaxed pace, touches things on the sets, feels them. He then sits alone for five minutes and then eventually mixes with everybody on the sets,” says Varun, who noticed this trait in Shah Rukh for the first time while he was assisting Karan Johar for 'My Name Is Khan' over five years back.
Varun continues, “When I asked him the reason for this, Shah Rukh told me that he wants to first feel the environment so that he feels comfortable while shooting on that spot. He doesn't want to feel like an alien to that place while doing the scene which is being shown as his home in the film.”
