You may not be surprised when you hear about a star kid making entry to films as it was a common phenomenon. But it does come as a surprise when you hear a politician's kid making debut.
If sources are to be believed, Nikhil Gowda, son of former Karnataka chief minister and JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy and grandson of EX- Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda is making entry into Telugu films. As per sources he will be entering into Tollywood under the direction of crazy director Puri Jagannadh.
This may sound a bit unusual because Nikhil happens to be from Karnataka and he has already making his trials in sandalwood.
Taking a cue from the sliding fortunes of his grandfather and father in politics, Nikhil wants to test the waters in an altogether new field, acting in films. According to insiders, Kumaraswamy wants to build a “mass hero" image for Nikhil on the big screen before exploiting his popularity off the screen.
