It's turning out to be quite an action-packed year ahead for Karthika Nair. She'll soon be seen in director Chinni Krishna's upcoming film where she's playing Allari Naresh's twin sister. We are told she will be doing all the heroic acts in the movie.
"When Chinni Krishna narrated the script to me, I kept wondering why was he narrating the hero's characterisation to me. Little did I know that I was going to do all the stunts and it came as a big surprise," she laughs, adding, "It's very rare to get such roles in Telugu. In fact, I'm doing an action-packed role in my upcoming Tamil film Purampokku as well. Playing a tomboy in both these films, I almost forgot that I was a girl."
The actress has just completed a graduate course from London School of Economics (through distant education) and she can't believe that she has actually cleared all her exams. "I've been shooting continuously for the past few months and I didn't have time to study. So, I ended up studying the night before the exam and it still feels like a miracle that I cleared. I've always been a nerd and my mother made sure that I don't miss out my studies for anything else.
After I made my debut in films, I wanted to continue studying and I might just take a year off to study further in future. For now, I'm loving all the action on the sets," she says.
