Vikram himself reveals the suspense: "Its a huge film and it costed about Rs 145 crore. We are shooting it since an year. 'I' in Tamil means Beauty. The film is about modeling industry and advertisement, the travails of a model! I play a Male Model who isn't someone who is born to do it but forced to do it. Its a Shankar's style thriller. 'I' gives me lot of scope to perform. Anyone seeing the movie will be shocked at what I have done. Physically I have changed myself almost thrice and a lot of hardwork has gone into it. I do anything when the script is so strong. I am really excited and I can't wait for it!".
