Reports about Remake of Mahesh Babu's Telugu blockbuster Srimanthudu once again surfaced to media. As per media reports Bollywood super hero Hrithik Roshan is likely to reprise the role of Mahesh Babu in the Hindi remake of Srimanthudu. Koratala Siva, who wielded the megaphone in the original, is likely to helm the Hindi remake. Discussions in this regard are currently underway, sources say. The reports extended that Chota Roshan has already seen the film and suggested a few changes towards the climax. Senior Roshan is likely to play the role of on screen dad of the Hrithik in the film.
Hrithik did not respond to the reports but a source close to him confirmed, "Hrithik has seen the film and he has suggested some changes in the climax. After making those, the director will see him again". Right after the film's success many Bollywood filmmakers tried to bag the remake rights and remake the film in Hindi. Varun Dhavan loved to do the film along with his father David Dhawan. But it was not materialized as David felt his son was too young to do the film.
According to sources, Koratala has 50 per cent stake in the Hindi remake rights while the Eros International has the rest.If all goes well Siva will start the work of Hindi Srimanthudu from September 2016 once he wraps shoot of NTR'S Janata Garage.
