The shooting of Rajinikanth's Lingaa is progressing at a face pace. While the talkie portions have been completed, only one song is yet to be canned. The latest, we hear, is that the Superstar finished dubbing for the film in a day. Producer Rockline Venkatesh says, "Rajinikanth finished the dubbing during Dussehra time. He walked in the morning and by the end of the day, he was done with the dubbing. It was one of the fastest dubbing efforts I've seen."
Meanwhile, the team canned a song with Rajinikanth and Sonakshi Sinha in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad yesterday. The team has just one more song to be shot with the Superstar. He says, "The introduction song of Rajini sir will be shot in France, Italy and Hong Kong. The song, sung by SP Balasubrahmanyam, will be choreographed by Brinda. We will leave to Europe post Deepavali." While the makers haven't decided on the date for the audio launch, the producer dismisses rumours that the film's release might be pushed to Pongal and confirms that Lingaa will be released on Rajinikanth's birthday as planned.
