The principal shooting of SS Rajamouli's upcoming magnum opus Baahubali is making slow but steady progress. Recently, the team went to Mahabaleshwar, where some key scenes were shot on Prabhas and Tamannahah. After nearly two weeks, the team has wrapped up the schedule and the entire crew will return to Hyderabad shortly. The next schedule of the film will begin next week in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
Ever since they moved to Mahabaleshwar, the cast and crew had to brave bad weather, including rain, fog and cold, to complete the scenes. In fact, Tamannahah, who joined the shoot a week ago, revealed that she has been struggling to keep herself warm due to the cold weather and Senthil, the cinematographer, had posted several pictures which showed how the team had to shoot despite rainfall, which was causing several problems. S S Rajamouli, who was quite relieved after wrapping up the shoot, took to his official page saying, "Schedule packup. Bye bye rain Bye bye cold Bye bye fog Bye bye mahabaleshwar Fresh schedule from 12th, at Ramoji film city. (sic)."
The film also stars Rana and Anushka in lead roles, apart from Ramyakrishna, Nassar and Sathyaraj. M M Keeravani is scoring the music and the film is being produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media banner.
