Legendary senior director Dasari Narayana Rao spoke to media today on the eve of his birthday tomorrow (May 4th). At this moment, he commented about the whole distributors-remuneration return fiasco.
Without taking names of anyone, Dasari stated, "In olden days heroes and directors used to offer dates again to the same producer if a film fails. That is a better thing to do. And if there are 20-30% losses incurred to distributors, none could do anything about it, as this is business". Probably this coating is meant for distributors.
He continued, "Some heroes like Rajnikanth, Pawan and Mahesh may return remunerations, but that's their thing. However when distributors approached any hero or director to look into the issue, these people should not distance vehemently from the issue".
