After making her Tollywood debut in Oka Laila Kosam, Pooja Hegde is betting big on her upcoming film, Mukunda. She's playing the lead role opposite Varun Tej and the film has been directed by Srikanth Addala. Talking about the film, Pooja Hegde says, "We have just wrapped up the film's shooting and I can tell you, from the bottom of my heart, that Mukunda will be a fabulous film. I was blown away by Srikanth Addala's narration and he has great clarity about what he wants. That sort of makes our job easy on the sets. I'm glad that I have got a chance to play a different character compared to my role in my debut film and my role is one of the key elements in the film."
The actress confesses that she became good friends with Varun Tej and that they used to share their food, everytime they used to go out for lunch or dinner. "He has powerful eyes and all of us used to be really scared of his gaze. After meeting his father, Naga Babu garu, I understood from where he got such good looks. He will be a big star in future."
When asked about her debut in Bollywood, Pooja said, "I was extremely nervous when I went for an audition and couldn't believe when I was told that I had bagged the role. I'm going to dedicate the next five months of my life to Mohenjo Daro and it's a dream come true to work with Ashutosh Gowarikar and Hrithik Roshan."
