Balayya fans disappointed with NTR’s decision

Balakrishna fans are said to have been very disappointed with the decision of Young Tiger NTR to release his 'Nannaku Prematho' on 13th January, just one day ahead of the release of Balayya's 'Dictator'. Because it is not good for the box-office prospects of both the films and the collections would be affected. Though Sankranthi season is good for the releases of films and they can collect as much as possible, two big films from the same family would confuse fans.

If the makers of the Sukumar directorial have fixed the initial release date, January 8th, the damage would have been less. It is probably for the first time that an intense competition is going to be between the films of two big Nandamuri heroes. Earlier NTR's 'Andhrawala' released on January 1st, 2004 and Balakrishna's 'Lakshmi Narasimha' released on January 14th, the same year. While Balayya's film was a blockbuster, NTR-Puri film was a disaster. Let's see which film would emerge winner this time at the box-office.
