Soon after the first reviews of Trivikram's A.. Aa were out, some of the critics and film lovers mentioned that the film's basic plotline was lifted from popular writer Yaddanapudi Sulochanarani's most celebrated novel, Meena.
A huge controversy erupted on social media and several reports were published in the media criticising Trivikram for not giving due credit to Yaddanapudi for being the major source of inspiration for A..Aa. While the film got positive response all-over, this controversy remained as a blot and Trivikram decided to erase it.
Finally responding to the controversy, Trivikram today said that they initially have credit to Yaddanapudi, but it was omitted in the film's final copy. Trivikram also added that a technical glitch resulted in the delay of the credit card being added to the film and that it can be seen in all screens from today.
Even though Trivikram hoped that the entire controversy will subside now, things got even more intensified after Guruji's clarification. Many said that while the censor was done in the last week of May, all the technical glitches could have been corrected before the film's release on June 2.
