Priyal Gor to debut in Tollywood

After the likes of Avika Gor and Sana Makbul, yet another TV actress, Priyal Gor is set to debut in Tollywood. She'll soon be seen in Sasi Kiran Narayana's Saheba Subramanyam, which is the Telugu remake of a Malayalam film, Thattathin Marayathu. Ask her how she bagged the role and Priyal recalls, "I was approached for this film while I was acting in a Hindi serial Dekha Ek Khwaab. I really liked my role in this beautiful love story. Initially, language was a huge barrier for me; however, the entire team took good care of me and we are almost like a family now."

Born and brought up in Mumbai, Priyal has been acting in TV serials since she was 15-year-old, all thanks to her mother. "I was too young to decide what I wanted to do and I never thought of becoming an actor in the first place. In a way, I am living my mother's dream and after a point, she got a bit too greedy and convinced me to take up films as well," Priyal laughs. Of late, the actress has been acting in an international televsion series which will be aired in India, Pakistan and Dubai. "I'm trying really hard to not juggle between serials and films at the moment. I love travelling and I want to take some time out of my busy schedule to do what I love to," she smiles.

Talking about her love for exploring new locales, Priyal says, "The best part about shooting for my Telugu film was the songs. We had shot in Kerala and even today, the moment I hear the songs from the film, the image of gorgeous locales from Kerala pop up in my head. It's so beautiful. At the same time, I really liked staying in Hyderabad while working on this project. I've roamed around so much that I think I know the city like I know Mumbai."
