Young Akkineni sensation Akhil forayed into Tollywood with an impressive debut in VV Vinayak's Akhil. Even though the film failed to set the box-office on fire, Akhil was highly appreciated for his all-round show in the dancing and fights department and even got fairly decent marks for his acting skills.Akhil's popularity rose when he signed a few endorsement deals with top national brands. With his first film itself, Akhil amassed a huge fan base of his own. Even with the failure of his debut film, expectations and craze for his second from are only high among his fans and this craze made the producers make a beeline in front of Akhil to grab his dates with fancy offers.
However, Akhil has not signed any film until now. While many are wondering if Akhil is not finding a right script, close sources reveal that the basic reason behind no producer striking a deal do sign Akhil so far is nothing but his remuneration. Apparently, Akhil is quoting a whopping Rs 8 crore as his remuneration per film. This naturally is scaring away many of Tollywood's producers who are not ready to shell out such a fat cheque post Akhil's debut disaster. Now, Akhil too is under pressure to cut down his salary for his upcoming film.
