Telugu Movie Artistes Association (MAA) failed to capitalize on the opportunity which came in the form of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). CCL Organisers came up with the offer of Rs 1 crore per year and all that MAA has to do is send 11 Players to represent Tollywood. Inspite of holding discussion with the members of the Association, MAA turned down the proposal for no reason.
Later, CCL placed the offer of Rs 50 lakhs per year before Kannada Film Artiste Association (KFAA) and they didn't let it go. In the last 7 Years, KFAA received Rs 3.5 crore and the Kannada Association now have its own building in Bengaluru without investing a single rupee. KFAA even invited CCL Chairman Vishnu Induri for the Inauguration of the Association building on May 29th. MAA's loss is KFAA's gain. Who has to be blamed? Murali Mohan or Internal Politics?
