As many as 10 Tollywood actors have joined hands to help thousands and lakhs of people, who had to bear the brunt of the recent Chennai floods. The campaign titled 'Mana Madras Kosam' was kickstarted today to collect relief material, medicines, food, blankets and other essential supplies to help several teams in Tamil Nadu, which have been working non-stop to help people in need.
Some of the actors who are part of this campaign are Rana Daggubati, Nani, Allari Naresh, Lakshmi Manchu and others, and for the past few hours, they have been appealing to their followers and friends on social media to come forward and contribute to the ongoing campaign. Already, actors like Allari Naresh, Nani, Tharun and few others have sent a truck, loaded with essential supplies, to Chennai and another batch of supplies will be sent on Sunday.
As a part of this drive, the 10 actors are coming together to raise funds and they'll be present at Inorbit, Manjeera & Forum malls, near Hi-Tech city and KPHB Colony on Sunday, Dec 6, between 4-7pm to collect money directly from people. On the other hand, Rana has requested everyone to drop off supplies, such as these mentioned below, at Ramanaidu Studios which will be sent to Chennai.
