These days even more than the content, hype, talk for a movie, Censor is becoming too much of a headache. The Censor Board officials are creating all sorts of troubles for the film makers and due to that, makers are under severe pressure. Recently Ravi Teja's Power has to be postponed by a week due to Censor issues.
The movie is now releasing this Friday. The delay costed Power one week free run at the box office.
The makers of Mahesh Babu's Aagadu were well aware of these issues. Mahesh Babu reportedly instructed them to not to take any risks and go for the movie censor well in advance. The makers have applied for the Censor and got a slot on September 12th (Friday).
So, Aagadu will be completing its censor formalities a week ahead of its release on September 19th.
The shooting of Aagadu is complete and the post production works are going on at full swing. Mahesh Babu had completed dubbing to his character and is very confident of the movie success. He thanked Srinu Vaitla for the film on Twitter and said to fans that he is never so relaxed ahead of a movie release. Aagadu stars Tamannah in the lead role and Shruti Hassan in a special song.
The film also features Sonu Sood, Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Napoleon, Sai Kumar and Tanikella Bharani. There are towering expectations on the film as the actor-director duo earlier delivered a blockbuster like Dookudu. The movie is very special for the music director Thaman as it is his 50th movie.
Anil Sunkara, Gopichand and Ram Achanta are producing the film under 14 Reels Entertainments banner. They have previously produced Mahesh Babu's Dookudu and 1-Nenokkadine.
