Trade Buzz - Bad week for distributors

Few films that released this week like Buchamma Buchodu, Weekend Love, Kirak just managed to collect 20 lakhs all put together and its considered a bad week for distributors.

Rabhasa - Despite poor promotion, its NTR's charisma that's keeping the collections at ticket counters and it has managed to garner 24 crore in the first week, all over, since its dropping even in overseas market. If any other actor, in his place, it would have been much worse for the simple story line. Industry people are blaming director santhosh for his immaturity and inability to handle the big star like NTR. However, its opening week collections are far far better than "Ramayya..." but we have to see how much it could touch by this weekend, since there is credible opposition.

Geetanjali - It touches magic figure of 10.5 crores in three weeks and silenced its detractors, who never gave it a chance, considering the unpopularity surrounding actress Anjali personal life and eve her earlier release "Masala" was a dud. "It was a comedy that kept it going, besides Anjali" says a distributor.

Lovers - This movie managed to cross 2.5 crores and could cover its moderate budget of .2.75 crore and Sumanth Ashwin is surely turning out to be a bankable star for small budget movies.
