Recently, it was reported that the makers of Allu Arjun's next had roped in Nithya Menen as a replacement for Pranitha Subhash. Well, the full story we learn, is that the Bangalore-based actress had opted out of the project. Why? Because director Trivikram Srinivas snapped at her on the sets, we learn. Apparently, Pranitha had even shot for a couple of days before having a fall out with the director.
"Trivikram had conceptualised how Pranitha was supposed to look like in front of the camera for a certain scene. But that day, when Pranitha walked on to the sets, her look was nothing like what Trivikram had imagined. He lost his cool on the sets. The incident, coupled with differences in character perception, that led to her walk out," informs a source on the sets of the film.
A source close to the unit says, "Trivikram yelled at Pranitha on the sets. It did not go down well with her, more so because the incident happened in front of the whole crew. A furious, Pranitha decided to walk out forcing the makers to look for a replacement subsequently." The irony is that "director Trivikram was keen on having Pranitha because he considered her a lucky charm post the success of Attarintiki Daredi," we are told.
