Senior Actor Ranganath Is No More

Ranganath B.A. (Telugu: రంగనాథ్) was a versatile Telugu film actor. He has acted some 300 films and played social and mythological roles.
He was born in Madras in 1949. His birth name is Tirumala Sundara Sri Ranganath. He has graduated (B.A.) from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati and worked as ticket collector in Indian Railways for some time. He has two daughters and one son.
He has entered films and acted first time in Buddhimanthudu (1969). Giribabu gave him chance to act as Hero in Chandana (1974). Subsequently he has acted in lead roles in Jamindaru Gari Ammayi, Devathalara Deevinchandi, Panthulamma, Intinti Ramayanam,America Ammayi and Andame Anandam and established in the field of Telugu cinema.

Ranganath Is The Inspiring Husband

Ranganath is a veteran actor. He began his career as hero and slowly switched over to character artist roles. Nowadays, he plays the roles of an elderly family member, or an honest and sincere village headman etc.

But very few know that he is a real hero and as kind and compassionate as he is on reel. Ranganath's wife took ill many years ago and she is now virtually confined to the bed. Ranganath has been taking care of her all these years.

He is busy with films but as soon as he wraps up his assignment, he immediately rushes home to be by her bedside. He has also cut down on all his public activities. His entire time is now spent in looking after his wife. Ranganath is a truly inspiring husband, loving, caring and committed.
