Raghava Lawrence has finally announced that his long pending project, Muni will hit the screens on December 25. The film has been made in Telugu and Tamil and it's the third installment of the Muni series. Ganga is a horror comedy and it has Lawrence, Taapsee playing the lead roles, apart from a guest appearance by Nithya Menen. Except for the climax portion, the rest of the film's shooting has been completed. "We are planning to shoot the climax soon and it'll be wrapped in about 20 days. After that, the post-production will take at least two months since the film requires a lot of CG. I must specify that the film's shooting got delayed since I was bed-ridden for a long time after my back pain became unberabale," Lawrence said.
In a press meet held in Hyderabad, the choreographer-turned-director also announced his plans to make a unique film which will have two different actresses. "While I was recovering from my injury, I began thinking about a script, which will have two different stories. The film story titled Musalodu is an action and message oriented story and it will have Andrea Jeremiah in the lead role. And the second story titled 'The Latest', will have Lakshmi Rai in the lead role and it's a comedy entertainer. I hope to start shooting this film early next year," he said.
Lakshmi Rai, who was also present at the press meet, revealed that she'll be playing the role of a rich girl and she has been given three months to prepare for her role. "I have a lot of scope to perform in the film and I'm glad to be working with Lawrence once again after Kanchana," Lakshmi Rai said.
