Not many know that Kajal Aggarwal has been actively involved in several initiatives to raise funds for NGOs across the country. The actress, however, chooses to remain silent about all the social activities that she has been doing off-screen for the past few years, but she seems to have made one exception.
The actress has called for a ban on animal-testing in cosmetics industry and even extended her support to a campaign to stop the sale and marketing of cosmetics and make-up products which are made after torturing animals. "Testing cosmetics and their ingredients on Animals is a CRIME! So is the marketing and sale of such cosmetics. I support PETA India and I believe that the import of animal-tested products be BANNED! Please protect animals, Dr. Harsh Vardhan. (sic)," she posted on her official page, while addressing the Union Health Minister, Dr Harsh Vardhan. Apart from Kajal, several other celebrities including Trisha, Sunny Leone, Sonakshi have petitioned the Health Ministry to ban the sale of such products.
Meanwhile, the actress will soon join the sets of Govindudu Andharivadele, which will be shot in London and Jordan over the span of next few days. Ram Charan is playing the lead role in this family drama and it'll hit the screens on October 1.
