Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is pleased with the outcome of his latest release Power. The film opened to mixed reviews but the actor reckons, "the is one of biggest hits" of his career. "I really loved the character of ACP Baldev Sahay. Director Bobby conceived the character very well which is why I agreed to be a part of the film," says Ravi Teja.
Hansika Motwani and Regina Cassandra played the lead roles in the movie directed by Bobby. When asked about the mixed response the film received initially he said, "That's the way it goes sometimes. The biggest hits of my career like Vikramarkudu, Amma Nanna Tamil Ammayi were tipped to be a flops initially. The same happened with Power as well. I was confident that the movie will connect with the audience."
Admittedly the actor lost a lot of weight to get into the character of the cop. "I had been wanting to loose some weight for a long time now. So when Bobby told me that I will be playing a powerful cop, I felt it would be better to muscle up a little," added Ravi Teja.
