Actor Kamal Haasan was hospitalised due to food poisioning in Chennai on Tuesday. However, he is out of danger and is expected to be back on the sets for shooting. The actor's illness triggered a scare as it comes days after filmmaker AR Murugadoss fainted on the sets due to food poisoning.
"Kamal Haasan was suffering from food poisoning and the doctors have confirmed that there's nothing to worry. He'll be discharged from the hospital soon and we are hoping that he will start
shooting later today," the actor's spokesperson said. For the past few days, Kamal Haasan has been shooting for Papanasam, the Tamil remake of Drishyam.
Jeethu Joseph is directing the film and Gauthami is playing the role of Kamal Haasan's wife in the family drama.
